Time ripped and mended in the blink of the eye, depositing 15,000 men and women into the starlight madness of space. Bay doors slowly opened like the mouth of an old man yawning, slowly pulling back to allow as great of a release as possible. With subtle precision hundreds of dagger shapped fighters poured from these mouths, smoothly like a black stream sluicing silently like a waterfall depositing itself into the incoherent black of the void. They raced out like the fastest members of a wolf pack to bite and nip at the ankles and undersides of their enemies. Behind them lumbered the rest of the pack, the slower but stronger capital ships strained their giant fusion engines to close range while they brought their turrets to bare and filled their tubes with dreams of death.
